The standard VRF system range, MRF-6, has undergone an expansion, now enabling a higher nominal system capacity of up to 168 kW. With the latest iteration of the MRF-6, it’s now feasible to combine three substantial outdoor units, each boasting a capacity of 204 kW

These improvements result in MRF-6 systems becoming more robust and versatile, creating opportunities for tackling larger and more intricate air conditioning and cooling projects.

Сompressor technologies

The new MRF series features advanced scroll compressors with two additional discharge valves. The new construction allows optimal pressure control inside the compressor. Due to this enchancement, the stability of operations at high and low revolution speeds has been significantly improved. And low level of discharge pressure pulsations was reached. Improved operating parameters increase the service life of the compressor and reduce energy consumption of systems as a whole

  1. Relief Valve technology. By releasing over compression during the compressing process, this technology reduces compression loss to improve compressor performance and efficiency when operating in the compression area.
  2. High Efficiency oil Lubrication Technology. The oil lubrication supply is designed to ensure the oil film efficiency of the bearing under all operating conditions, including low operating speed, by utilizing pressure difference supply technology.
  3. Frame Compliance Mechanism Technology. This mechanism has been designed to operate moving parts at precise thrust forces (by using two middle pressure chambers to balance the force for each part), resulting in improved compressor reliability by allowing it to operate at higher condensing temperatures of up to 65°C for an indefinite period of time, as well as higher compressor performance with lower power input by minimizing friction loss to its bare minimum.
  4. Low Vibration Technology. Vibration is reduced by balancing rotating parts in mechanical and rotor systems that range in speed operation from low to high resulting in finer vibration and lower noise.
  5. Asymmetric Scroll Technology. The scroll part was designed to reduce leak loss of low refrigerant flow at suction side and leak loss at low compression ratio conditions, resulting in more stable refrigerant discharge flow.
  6. Oval Scroll Technology. Oval Scroll Technology (Mitsubishi’s patent), allows for greater stroke volume and capacity in the same unit size by transforming a typical scroll shape into an oval.

Oil return efficiency

If the compressor operate at low frequency, oil return is only through the capillary. If the compressor operate at high frequency, oil return is through the capillary and solenoid valve. Oil cross-change technology performs equalizing of oil level in multi-compressor units.

Oil level control

Additional pipe is used for oil equalizing between the outdoor units in multi unit combination. This technology guarantees a normal oil level in all compressors of all outdoor units.

Concentrated winding motor achieves “High Output” and “Total Efficiency Improvement”

The newly designed high performance CPU enables high precision optimization for compressor speed, which leads to concentrated winding motor use. Our product achieves high output and better energy saving effects and in particular improves seasonal efficiency rating.

Discharge optimization

The introduction of a new multiport discharge area within the compressor represents a significant enhancement in pressure control, offering improved balance and optimization. This innovation has led to notable performance improvements, particularly in the medium frequency range, resulting in higher annual efficiencies for the system.

Electronic expansion valve control technology ​ ​

Electronic expansion valves are set for all the ODUs and IDUs To ensure effective refrigerant distribution among ODUs and IDUs, achieve the same effect and comfort in different rooms.

​Sectional heat exchanger design

Sectional heat exchanger can ajust its capacity depending on current load. This construction allows operation with the low loads (when only 1-2 indoor units operate, e.g.)

Improved Heat-exchanger

With piping layout rearranged from header to heat exchanger, refrigerant distribution flow has improved and maximum energy efficiency has been achieved. Heat
exchanger has improved refrigerant distribution and increased effectiveness. Furthermore due to expansion of effective heat transfer area in heat exchanger, energy efficiency has increased.

Multiple modes available to meet the needs of different users

Compressor double protection

Base on the basic gas discharge sensor, MOV 6 add the oil temperature sensor at the bottom of compressor.
Main functions of the oil temperature sensor

  • Control the on/off of crankcase heater, preventing from the liquid shock of compressor
  • Judge if the liquid refrigerant enter into the compressor during operation
  • Oil overheating prevention
  • High pressure sensor for every compressor so for the module with
  • 2 compressors, there are 2 high pressure sensors and 1 low pressure sensor

There is surge arrester in the terminal block to avoid high voltage peaks.
